Dr. Linda Gilliland is the founder of Nectars Aesthetic Health Consultants, Inc., located in Winter Park, Florida. She has extensive training in nonsurgical cosmetic procedures and has specialized her practice exclusively in NON-surgical cosmetic procedures and products since 2005. She is well known in Central Florida as one of the most experienced injectors of Botox and dermal fillers, including theJuvederm, Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, and other products such as Kybella, Sculptra, Radiesse, and Restylane.
By identifying the goals and objectives of her patients’, a unique individualized cosmetic care plan takes each patient to a new level of personal satisfaction and confidence in their appearance. Her vast expertise and training in Botox injections, dermal fillers injections, laser treatments, skin care and attention to detail makes her uniquely qualified for these procedures.
Dr. Gilliland is also well known nationally as a trainer for aesthetic procedures, providing instruction to thousands of physician and nurse injectors since 2005. As one of the top 100 injectors nationally, she has been an ACE speaker (Aesthetic Consultant Exchange) for Allergan, maker for Botox, for the past 10 years.
Linda graduated with a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing in 2005 from the University of Florida and in UF in 1996 with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and is a licensed nurse practitioner. She also graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor in Science in Nursing in 1991 and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a Minor in Business from the University of Colorado in 1977.
Background experience in hospitals includes Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and Orlando Regional Healthcare System in Orlando and with other physicians providing primary care to all ages. Serving as faculty for the University of Central Florida, Dr. Gilliland provided graduate level instruction to future nurse practitioners.
Dr. Gilliland is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, and has been president of numerous nursing and health care organizations. She has received many honors and awards and has been published in the Nursing Clinics of North America and the Maternal Child Nursing. Dr. Gilliland maintains her certification as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Her interest in children and research continues with her organizing a non-profit organization for research into the potential danger of ultrasound in pregnancy to the unborn (website: preventbirthdefects.com) to determine if there is a link between exposure in utero and subsequent development of autism. Her preliminary research showed a significant link between ultrasound exposure and autism.
Other interests include maximizing health through proper nutrition and exercise. As a former owner of a health food/smoothie restaurant with her sons, she hopes to market her protein burger made of all natural ingredients. She is also active with a business she owns with her sons, that sells aquarium equipment and other pet supplies internationally.
